Carers Contact hold a Coffee Morning for carers / cared for. It is held on the last Thursday of every month from 10.00am until 12 noon. We can give support and information on a variety of subjects. We want to hear your problems. Come and tell us what services you require as a carer, the problems you are having and what would make a difference to you in your caring role. We want to pass your voice forward. We hope to have speakers on the subjects you would like and activities for you to join in with. Come and make new friends. Leprosy Mission evening – Mr John White, the Area Co-ordinator for Wales, will give an illustrated talk. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to buy Christmas cards, calendars, gifts etc. to support the work of Leprosy Mission. Postcards and coins can be used by the mission to raise funds – so if you have any that you no longer want them please bring them along

Back to Church Sunday on 28th September 2008 is an opportunity for you to try church again. This is a national event which began in 2004. Last year 20,000 people came back to church following an invitation from a friend. This year over 5,000 churches will be involved.
There are lots of reasons why people stop going to church. They move house, have a baby or simply get out of the habit. Some people feel embarrassed about going back to church after a long absence, but if someone invites them then they gladly go, and a special occasion makes it even easier.
Back to Church Sunday is your open invitation to come along to church again, or maybe even for the first time. It provides you with a fantastic opportunity to visit us, be part of our community and be welcomed and loved. We invite you Back to Church on Sunday 28 September at 10:30 am and 6.30 pm
