Why not come to an informal talk by our link missionaries Ian & Cynthia Chadwell and their children Justin (10) and Lucy (8).
Ian and Cynthia who come from Bristol, went to work in Nepal in the early 1990s. They work with one of BMS’ newest partners, an orginsation called Human Development and Community Services which is run by a group of Nepali Christians. Ian is working as an advisor to the health programme which consists of former mission hospitals in Nepal. Cynthia is working part time with a Christian organisation in pre-school teacher training and has also started teaching Sunday school at their Nepali church. The children are at Katmandu International Study Centre in the primary section.
The informal talk starts at 5.00 pm and will be followed by a buffet tea.
Local churches will join together and commence the march at 3.15 pm from St Julian’s Baptist Church, Beaufort Road, Newport.
The march will travel through St Julian’s Estate, down St Julian’s Avenue, on to Caerleon Road, before heading to Duckpool Road Baptist Church. There will be a service at Duckpool Road Baptist Church commencing at approximately 4.30 pm followed by tea.
All welcome to the Ascension Day Service, which will be held in the Christian Centre
Services to be held at 10.30 am and 6.30 pm.
